our first cross country practise

Last week we had our first cross country practise we had just came back from our rugby game we won the first time we were really tired but we kept a happy mindset when the first bell rang we lined up and started walking to the beach my legs were really hurting  it felt like I was just sot but I just cep walinking troy was next to me so we just talked so that helped me to not think about the pain.

Wen we got there Koka Rozie told us were to run and and not to run all the teachers walked to the checkpoints Koka B said a speech  she said you all the year groups we had to line up and then we were of i was on a roll i did better or practise than i did last year I did my first lap my blood was pumping it was a really hot day i had to take a brake so i waled for a wile so i just could cool down Jackson caught up so we started to run together but stared to run to fast so when i looked back he was gone i was almost done just one more check point then i could go lay down in the shade I went past Koka Leah just a little bit to go and finally i was done that was a good practise I sat down in the sade I cooled down and all the other kids  were finished we stared to walk back to school and went home     

what i am doing this week

Koka Rozie is learning us by us i mean my workshop group this learning intention is ways to begin sentences Koka Rozie Gives us a sheet and  we have to put a  wit a verb at the beginning and we do like 2 or 3 sentences and then we do that everyday for the week and it's winter and we played this game called interland is where you learn to not share your personal info with anyone.

Koka Rozie is teaching us about the Blue Penguin. She taught us this game, where you're a penguin and you have to avoid penguin pests; stoats, cats, dogs, and all the other stuff. But it taught me that us humans have been interfering with the, so we must do things such as, try to put your dog on a leash, if your walking your dog close to the nesting grounds.

The next day, it was a normal day. We had our workshops like normal but I was so happy because I only had one and it was my favorite 'literacy legends' because we're doing reading and writing of this story Maia Poroaki and its fun. I just need to finish my flip grid, then I am done . Then, we had morning tea and when we came back we had code crackers and assessment for learning then lunch and finally school singing and Kapa Haka and then we went home and that my week.            

cooks cove

 last week we went to cooks cove.at  9:00 we got in the cars wen we got there we waited for some more people then we got in to single file lines. the we walked to the beginning it was fave minutes then we were at the stacew of lith we rest there for a wile then .we started to thew next checkpoint tats were you can get the best wew .  we walked to the place were captain cook docked it was a very long walk  then we got to the hole in the rock and its pretty cool finally we got to cooks cove and all i was worrying about was to just eat my lunch then wile we were eating the teachers told us about the place . an then finally we streed to walk back and got back into the car groups an came bac to school  

a fun day at the craft fair

 its 3pm school is about to end and the craft fair is today the bell rings i get up and get my bag and head of to my bike its only an our before the craft fair and i need to get home I go as fast as i can i get home and its only bin 3 minutes i get ready to go .

me my mum and my sister get in the car  and we head to the craft fair 

we get there and we wait in the que to get our tickets so we can do  the rides  we get our tickets and I instantly see the burgers  and drinks i ask my mum if i can get some food  she says jes. 

then i see troy and Taimana thay asks me if we want to go do bubble soccer and  i say yes then after we got some food  then we go play on the bouncy castle  troy wen to get his parents so they can meet my parents  thay talked  for an our then they had to go home but troy staid with us then we took troy home and we went home as well.       

Don't blame the bee bots

 To day we had to write instructions down in our writing books for the bee bots . Then we used our instructions to build a track for the bee bots out of blocks . We then used our instructions to move our bee bots through the course.

It was quite tricky putting the course blocks in the right place - the bee-bot would crash into them.  I did manage to make the blocks far apart so the bee bots won't crash into them.

 Last week we were learning  how to use google drawings to draw a lighthouse.  I made up a saying and colored it yellow.
